This weekend was sooo busy (but fun!) My family came into town for a joint birthday party/slash backyard cookout, where my sister and I were both the Guests of Honor. My nieces decided to crash at my house, and I had a ball catching up with them, and spending all day Sunday with them. The theme for this weekend was clearly “Blue”: even my birthday balloons were a shade of blue!

I don’t know about you, but it’s always so hard for me to go back to work after a relaxing/sleeping in late/eating all the wrong things weekend!! On Monday’s, I try to do a fun pop of color, or add a really cute accessory to my look, in order to add a little pep in my step. Today, I did both! Outfit details after the post. I love this cut out top…it’s safe enough for work (I work for the Government: stockings are a must!), but the cutouts add a touch of sass! My earrings fully embrace the tassel trend, and I love how lightweight and swingy they are! I think my whole look, including the cup, is less than $100!!!!
