Today we celebrated my sister’s 40th birthday at Lucky 32, which is at the top of my list of great restaurants in Greensboro. It’s always a good time when getting together with family and friends for occasions like these, and today was no exception! The food and fellowship were both so enjoyable, and the birthday girl was pleasantly surprised!
I decided to wear a repeat of one of my favorite one-shoulder tops from NY&Co, before it gets too cold to wear. Today I styled this top with minimal jewelry, except for a pair of statement earrings, my adorable bow front mules from Boohoo, and my go-to LV Pochette.
I’ve been enjoying the one-shoulder styles from NY&Co this past summer. As a full figured woman, I used to shy away from baring my arms or wearing asymmetrical styles, but NY&Co designs their clothing to be very figure flattering, and I find that their tops skim over, and smooth problem areas. I really love the ruffle detail on the top, as it detracts attention from my arms and allows me to feel more confident about going sleeveless!
Dinner at Lucky 32 was excellent as always! The Jambalaya is my go-to dish, but tonight I decided to indulge in the Salt & Pepper Ribeye with whipped sweet potatoes. It was outstanding!!! The steak was succulently tender, and cooked exactly to my specifications. The whipped sweet potatoes were pretty standard fare, but a great accompaniment to the steak! I highly recommend Lucky 32 if you’re ever in the Greensboro area!
