Hello Socialites! Have I got some exciting news! I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award, by the wonderfully talented Maria, the writer of Sunlight of the Mind, a food and lifestyle blog! (Go check out her blog! ✨ It’s amazing!)  I have been blown away by the support I’ve received from the blogging community, as well as the internet as a whole! I want to send a MASSIVE thank you to Maria, as well as congratulate her on her own well deserved Liebster Award win! ?

So what is this Liebster Award, you ask? Well, the Liebster Award is an accolade given from bloggers to newer blogs with smaller followings to recognize them for valuable content.
Winning the Liebster Award comes with its’ own set of instructions if you officially accept the nomination.

The Questions I was Given by Marie:

What is one of your favorite memories from when you were young?

-Spending the Summers with my family at the Shenandoah Villas in the mountains at Massanutten. Although my sisters and I were young, we were allowed our own access card to all the amenities, and we felt so grown up going to the pool and ordering from the snack bars without an adult! Good times.

What is your honest opinion about veganism?

I am an equal opportunity eater: if it’s good and can be fried, I love it! ? With that said, I have so much admiration for those in the vegan lifestyle, and the strength of conviction that so many have.

Do you have any pets? If yes, introduce them!

Yes! I am the proud owner of a long-haired Dachshund named Grizzly!

Would you ever get a tattoo? Or do you have any?

I do not have any tattoos, and I don’t plan to get any. Not knocking them…just not for me!

Have you ever done something embarrassing that got caught on camera?

No! Either I am totally boring, or extremely lucky! Depends on how you see it! I am planning to start a YouTube channel soon, so that will likely be changing in the near future! ?

How would you describe your best friend?

–My best friend is beautiful, super smart, loving and kind, blunt but considerate, and oh so fashionable! We have shared just about everything with each other, and our friendship continues to grow and deepen with each year. *The awesome part is that I have 2 best friends and this description is 100% true for both Kynesha Jackson, and Keesha Green! ? *

Is there any place in the world you would love to visit?

Yes!!! My dream trip is Bora Bora! I would love to go for like a whole week or two, and stay in one of those luxurious bungalows over the water!

How close are you to your family?

Immensely close. Like seriously…people think we are weird. I cannot make a single decision without bouncing it off of my sisters, who I talk to everyday, for hours at a time! I feel empty when I can’t have deep philosophical discussions with my dad! And my mom is my everything. I am sooo tremendously blessed to have my family!

8 Random Facts About Me! 

-I am left handed, and I love finding left handed supplies and utensils!

-I cried tears of joy when Netflix began airing episodes of Jem & The Holograms; He-Man; and She-Ra. No really, I cried.

-I once held up traffic to assist a baby turtle in crossing the road.

-I have never gotten a speeding ticket! (Knocking on serious wood right now! ?)

-I am obssessed with ballet, and I can watch Svetlana Zhakarova videos on YouTube all day!

-I starred as Jill in a production of Jack and the Beanstalk when I was 9. I was cast by a traveling theater troupe: The Missoula Children’s Theater, and I was even featured on the local news. I know, I know. No big deal! But hey, I was 9.

-I prefer raw cookie dough over the finished, baked product. “I laugh in the face of Salmonella!”

-I can quote just about every line from the following movies: Coming to America; Clueless; Friday; The Color Purple; and Steel Magnolias. So can my sisters, and we always quote various lines for befitting situations!
