Hey Socialites! ?? If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you probably know that I loooove NY&Company clothing! I feel like many of the smaller retail stores get overlooked by bloggers, in favor of big retailers like Nordstrom, or Instagram boutiques who send clothing for free. Today, this post will be featuring this AMAZING NY&Company Moto Jacket Inspired Sweater, but I have been a fan of NY&Company for years, and I’ll tell you why:
1. They have clothing for all occasions and purposes. Need career apparel…look no further. They have tons of chic and stylish corporate looks consisting of button down Oxfords, chic blouses, and stylish trousers in a variety of colors. Need a feminine, date night dress? Look no further than the Eva Mendes Collection! I also love their jeans, sexy off the shoulder sweaters and their super comfy athleisure wear! They have stylish and modern coats, shoes and boots, and even pajamas! The quality of the clothing is great as well, and they have an easy return policy!
2. They have extended sizes. I feel like this is an important requirement for every company!!! As a plus sized blogger, I come across so many new boutiques and stores, only to be discouraged when their size chart comes in S, M, L (seriously y’all…it’s 2018…when are y’all going to fix this???!!!!) NY&Company offers extended sizes up to XXL in tops, and up to size 20 in pants! Most of their jeans have stretch, and they give a detailed description of fit on each item page!
3. The coupon codes and sales. NY&Company has THE best sales! If you log on, items may seem a bit pricey for some…$50 for a thinner knit sweater is out of the budget for many. However, if you pay attention to the marquee headline underneath the store headline, they are always offering promo codes with up to 40% off!!! And, if you subscribe to emails, they regularly send out promo codes offering huge deals like $70 off of $150, etc. These codes allow me to purchase multiple pieces at one time, and really build my wardrobe.
So, now that you know my reasons for always talking about NY&Co (honesty and transparency are important around these parts!) let me share this BOMB (do people still say that? I do…but I also live in nowheresville!) Sweater Moto Jacket! 
I chose the Calm Heather Gray color, because I felt that it would work in the office with black pants, just as well as it does with jeans!
I’m wearing an XL, and I find that this sweater runs true to size. It has a comfy and easy fit, but it also hugs the curves in a flattering way. I recommend sizing up if you want a baggy feel, and sticking with your true size if you want a snugger curve skimming feel!
I finished my look with a pair of dark blue denim skinny jeans from Nordstrom and gray over the knee boots from Charlotte Russe! Not pictured are my gray wool pea coat from Old Navy, and my Neverfull MM from Louis Vuitton. You can shop my entire look in the widget below!

Love the sweater and the boots! I agree, so many beauty bloggers seem to focus on the bigger stores. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s nice to be reminded that the smaller stores have great things too.

Winter fashion is so cool – where you get to layer your clothes and all. Here in Singapore, where it’s 25-32 degrees all year round, just slip on a tee and shorts and you’re done!

You do look beautiful. And the sweater looks good on you. That’s great they have the extended sizes in their product. Hard to believe some place did not have a size beyond large. It’s crazy.
